Do you carry bulk mulch/topsoil? What is the cost?

Yes. We carry Black Beauty and Chocolate Cherry mulch - $42 per yard. Topsoil and compost - $35 per yard.

Delivery is also available.

Do you support local businesses and Non-Profit organizations?

We proudly support many organizations and causes in our community. We do however, receive on average 7-8 requests per week. While we would love to help all good causes it is not always possible Please complete the Donation Request Form and we will review.

Do you offer landscaping?

We no longer offer full landscaping services, but will plant trees by appointment. Planting fee is 1/2 the original price of the tree.

When is the best time of year to plant...

Vegetables - most veggies will be planted after May 15 (frost free date). However, there are cool crops that can be planted as early as mid-March. Annuals - same as veggies. Perennials - best planted in spring or fall. Require more attention if planted in summer. Trees/shrubs - same as perennials.

Bulbs-  Spring-flowering bulbs, such as tulips, daffodils, hyacinth and crocuses, should be planted in early September.  Bulbs that bloom from early summer to fall, such as dahlias, cannas, caladiums and bareroot items, like hosta, daylilies, peonies and bleeding hearts, are planted in early April.

Do you ship gifts outside of Marysville?

We would be happy to help you give a gift to a friend or family member outside of town!  You can order Gift Cards on our website and we can mail them with in the U.S. We also offer a year round online gift store that offers pre-potted flower bulbs and other giftables- Berbee's Best- From Box to Bloom!
